1. What do you believe are the two biggest issues currently facing Abbotsford schools?

The first is meeting individual student needs with available resources. Students learn differently, and classrooms need the supports, specialized programming and flexibility to help every student succeed. Second is the prudent use of smartphones, social media and AI. Schools and families need practical tools to protect learning, development and well-being.

2. Which school board decisions of the past term do you most strongly support, and which do you most disagree with?

I strongly support our emphasis on foundational early learning, literacy, and numeracy; a strong start builds the foundation for long-term success. I disagree with our tendency to avoid unscripted dialogue and open debate. Board processes should be more transparent, allowing parents and teachers to participate in and understand district decisions.
